!!!! Welcome to
Independance Virtual Airlines !!!!
Independance
Virtual Airlines is a VIRTUAL airline which is based on
Microsoft FS 2004 and FSX.
Those who remember Polish Virtual Airlines (PVLL) - the FIRST
Virtual Airline in Poland ever built, dated around year 1998 can
see similarities in web page design.
(The people involved in PVLL are now in Independance).
We are a small company, which flies with classic airplane.
We fly only on IVAO network and all our flight must be conducted
online.
Our current fleet consist of five aircraft, three of them are
currently stored and A300F and DC-6A are active:
Airbus Industrie A300B4-203F bought from DHL -
//ACTIVE//
British Aircraft Corporation BAC 1-11 - 400
version, which was bought from Cambrian Airlines
-
//STORED//
British Aircraft
Corporation BAC 1-11 - 500 version bought from Courtline
-
//STORED//
Douglas
DC-6A bought from Andes Carga from Ecuador -
//ACTIVE//
McDonnell
Douglas MD-83 bought from Gryphon Air -
//STORED//
British Carrier Cambrian doesn't fly any more, in Europe 1-11s
also do not fly (thanks to that shitty STAGE 3 noise
restrictions), but Independance want to bring back the romance
of flying on classic airplane.
Independance mostly flies charter, cargo and ad hoc flights, but
scheduled flights are expected in near future.
Main base is Katowice Airport - EPKT - Poland
The name was chosen, because it express the ability and freedom
to talk, work and to perform freely and independently from
anybody else.

!!!!! IF
YOU WANT TO WORK IN INDEPENDANCE
YOU MUST HAVE AT LEAST IVAO'S FLIGHT CAPTAIN
RATING" !!!!!
SENIOR FLIGHT CAPTAIN preferably
READ THE TEXT BELOW VERY CAREFULLY
IF YOU SEND AN APPLICATION WE PRESUME THAT YOU AGREED TO
STATEMENTS SHOWN BELOW.
You are obliged to fly on regular basis. We understand
that this is a hobby and everybody has its own private
life, work, etc, however if You applying for flying with
Independance, You should be able to do that. You will be
asked how many hours per week You can fly, this doesn't
mean, that You need to fly a lot, just fly regularly. If
You can do a one or two short flight per week or even per
two weeks - this is a place for You.
Once Your application is accepted, You will be asked to do
Virtual Type Rating - means some short flight, performing
some maneuvers - not
lasting more that 1 hour.
Once that is done, You will get Your personal timetable
(according to Your preferences), which You will be asked
to fly.
Despite of regular services, You can find charter and ad
hoc flights, for which You can apply and fly them.
Remember!! In Independance it is important where a plane
is and where a pilot is.
Short example: You are in EPKT,
aircraft is in EPKT
and You are asked to fly to EPWA.
You do that flight and now both of You, are in EPWA, but from various
reasons You are not able to go back to EPKT, so another pilot flies. Now the
plane is in EPKT, but
You are still in EPWA.
If this is a scheduled
destination, no problem You can fly to EPKT as a pilot of next flight or as a
passenger (You have to advise us BEFORE the time of
departure of that flight) and then You will be
repositioned back to EPKT.
If somehow You find Yourself to be in a place, where we
not fly regularly or where we flew only once, You will be
asked EPKTto go back
to , using other airlines /virtual or real/ using trains,
buses etc (You have to show that connections in other
airlines/trains/buses websites).
If You would like to fly for us, just download the Pilot Application in
"txt" format (right click - "Save as...")
fill it and sent it to e-mail listed below.
If you didn't get answer in a 5 days, send a message
to an E-mail below.
